Matthew is an avid Chargers football and Padres baseball fan. Since Matthew is a San Diego native, his love for San Diego extends beyond its sports teams. He also has a love and appreciation for the ocean and surfing – which mainly serves to inspire and motivate his professional life as an attorney specializing in the areas of Trusts and Estate Planning, as well as civil and probate litigation.
Matthew graduated from Brigham Young University (Hawaii) with a B.S. in accounting, and Brigham Young University, J. Reuben Clark Law School with a merit based scholarship. Immediately upon graduation he worked as an associate for a Salt Lake City area law firm specializing in estate planning, probate, and guardianship matters.
It didn’t take long for this San Diego native to find his way back home, and join the Rostam family. With Rostam Law, Matthew has maintained a steady flow of interesting matters even beyond estate planning and probate. These matters include the representation of a large restaurant chain operator in a suit against three large workers compensation insurance carriers; the representation of a television production company in a suit for theft of idea; and the representation of an energy drink manufacturer in a suit for breach of contract.
Matthew is located in the San Diego location.
